What's the importance of SEL?

SEL helps students become more emotionally aware, empathetic, resilient, and capable of making thoughtful decisions in their personal lives and communities.

In our program, engagement and meaningful connection between the arts and education is built on three goals:

Experience

Students experience real-world issues and human stories through live theater.

Reflection

Students explore emotions, examine different perspectives, and consider the impact of individual and collective choices.

Application

Students connect what they learn to their own lives, relationships, civic responsibilities, and communities.
